ABOUT ME
My name is Stephanie Bowers, and I run Stephanie Bowers Photography. I’m a portrait photographer, specialising in women’s boudoir photography. I have a desire to empower everyday women by showing them how truly beautiful they are. I primarily shoot with natural light, out of my warm, inviting and private home studio.
I am a mum with two gorgeous kids of my own, and first picked up a camera after my daughter was born. Whilst I’ve spent many years photographing newborns and families in the past, I always knew that boudoir photography was my ultimate passion. I love capturing intimate, gorgeous and empowering images for women that you will treasure for a lifetime. I hope to have the pleasure of capturing these memories for you and your loved ones soon!

Stephanie Bowers has been a professional photographer for over 12 years. She is a multi-award-winning photographer across Australia, and was awarded the 2014 QLD Professional Emerging Photographer of the Year, and winner of Best Boudoir Photography Studio Australia in 2022 & 2023 by APAC Insider, as well as the Empowering Photography Award Australia for 2023. Stephanie Bowers Photography has become renowned across Australia for producing tasteful, timeless and stunning boudoir photography images for everyday women. She has travelled across Australia and the world, working with clients, building her business and teaching other photographers around the world. Stephanie is the only photographer featured in the ‘Best of Nudity’ section in Australia’s leading art and interior design magazine Art Edit. She has produced boudoir imagery for book covers for New York Times best-selling authors, has been published in the Huffington Post, and features on the cover and a 50 page spread in the May 2017 issue of f11 Magazine. Stephanie has been published internationally in the launch editions of Boudoir Inspiration's Volume 1 magazine and special B&W edition. Stephanie also brings expertise as a judge at the Queensland Professional Photography awards. Prior to photography and children, Stephanie worked in the corporate world, managing national and international research programs. She has degrees in both Business and Applied Science, and was awarded the Deans Awards from both faculties at QUT for the highest overall GPA in both degrees. Stephanie was also a swimmer for 16 years, training with the Queensland Academy of Sport, and travelling with state and national teams.
